The Cafe at The Loren Collaboration Series continues in August with La Casita Bakeshop!

La Casita Bakeshop, founded in 2017 by Maricsa Trejo and Alex Henderson, has quickly grown into one of the largest and most renowned bakeries in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, known for its diverse menu of pastries and food from around the world. Trejo and the bakeshop have received numerous awards since opening, including best order-ahead bakery by D Magazine, Bakery of the Year by Dallas Morning News, Pastry Chef of the Year by CultureMap Dallas, and more. Additionally, they have been nominated for a James Beard Award for three consecutive years. 

Cafe at The Loren will offer La Casita Bakeshop’s signature treats from August 1-31, including:

• Dulce de leche honey cake
• Strawberry guava and cheese quesitos
• Saffron cardamom knots
• Dacquoise cake
• Sesame brown butter chocolate chip cookies

A portion of proceeds will support The Loren Roots Imperative, a nonprofit dedicated to offsetting the carbon footprint of development.
